Special Guests is a new offering from acclaimed London coffee head, Paul Ross. He came to me to brand his subscription based coffee company and take care of everything visual, from logo, packaging, to any brand touchpoint moving forwards.
Needing to stand out in an incredibly saturated market it was clear from the outset that this brand was going to take shape through its use of materials as much as it having a beautifully crafted logo.
Due to the nature of packaging coffee, and a need to have an adaptable design system I came up with a tagged labelling system that was printed in white foil ink on beautiful black stock.
As the business grows this system allows different coffees to retain individuality whilst falling under the same visual identity. A clear system that showcases the coffees details sits alongside a chic matt black bag. On shelf this branding has real stand out in the often busy world of coffee brands.
Other the course of this brands short life I have worked with founder Paul to create everything from digital advertising and beautiful infographics, to high quality menus and printed materials for the brands events. This ongoing partnership will hopefully take shape in the form of spatial design to help bring Special Guests' physical spaces to life beautifully and elegantly.
